Objectives

• Ensure needs and interests of local mentoring programs are represented by Iowa MENTOR
• Promote collaboration among mentoring programs and with Iowa MENTOR
• Advocate for the goals and activities of the Iowa MENTOR

Key roles

1. Strengthen the impact of Iowa MENTOR and ensure the effectiveness and relevancy of the organization in areas including:
   1. Strategic Plan
   2. Collaboration with mentoring organizations
   3. Needs and challenges of local programs
2. Champion the goals of Iowa MENTOR and the mentoring field in the state of Iowa
   1. Promote the shared vision of Iowa MENTOR with networks
   2. Connect Iowa MENTOR with organizations/individuals that will further the mission of Iowa MENTOR
